What is Swap?

Swap enables smooth crypto-to-crypto trading without the need for middlemen. Users don't have to use the conventional strategy of first changing their local currencies to fiat and then purchasing the selected cryptocurrency. Token to fiat currency conversion takes time and places heavy demands on the users.

Exchanges, wallets, and other blockchain-focused trading platforms started introducing the swap facility in response to these worries. Any native token can be swapped for a non-native token via a swap-enabled trading platform. They can access tokens directly from the official crypto wallet. To make swaps and trade tokens from a separate blockchain, users must simply add the entire amount to be exchanged and the preferred trading pair to the swap form. Few examples of swap-enabled exchanges are - Changelly, Shapeshift, change now, etc.
