What is MimbleWimble?

MimbleWimble is a blockchain protocol that provides a layer of privacy and scalability to blockchains. It uses a combination of Confidential Transactions, Transaction Cut-Through, and CoinJoin to achieve this. Confidential Transactions hide the amounts being transacted, while Transaction Cut-Through and CoinJoin combine multiple transactions into a single transaction to reduce the size of the blockchain. This makes MimbleWimble much more efficient than other blockchain protocols, as it reduces the total amount of data that needs to be stored in the ledger. Additionally, MimbleWimble allows for more privacy by hiding the identities of users from each other and from anyone monitoring the network.
