Application Programming Interface (API)

What is API?

Application Programming Interface is referred to as API. It serves as an interface for programs to communicate with one another. In simple terms, it's a message system that allows two programs to communicate with one another. An API is made up of a few phrases that are shared between programs to enable secure communication between them. The security levels for these phrases range from 2 to 3. They are commonly referred to as keys and secrets. The third phrase that is added could be a passphrase. These typically range from 32 to 64 characters and are alphanumeric. They serve as account keys and are produced using cryptographic methods. The algorithm that the application uses to produce those ensures security.
