LINK or chainlink is a decentralized oracle network that links data from the outside world to smart contracts on its platform. Oracles act as data feeds because blockchains can't access external data. Oracles deliver outside data and start smart contract executions when certain conditions are met. Since Chainlink enables smart contract apps to access data from outside their networks, numerous opportunities have been made possible. They can now create more intelligent automatic agreements as a result.
Steve Ellis and Sergey Nazarov created Chainlink. It has agreements with organizations like Google Cloud, Oracle, SWIFT, and Intel and is well known for being the first Oracle service on the market.
