Cronos is the native cryptocurrency token of the Cronos Chain, and it was formerly known as Crypto.com Coin. It is a decentralized, open-source blockchain that is compatible with Ethereum. The cryptocurrency exchange Crypto.com created Cronos or CRO.
Delegate-proof-of-stake (DPoS) is the consensus algorithm used by CRO. By giving their tokens to validators who operate nodes to verify transactions on the Crypto.org Chain, investors can profit. Block rewards are received in CRO and are given to delegators once the commission has been subtracted.
Depending on the platform and method used for staking, there are different rewards. The CRO token has no minimum stake requirement, and delegators are free to stake or unstake at any moment.
